Still experiencing a lot of issues related to server migration. These include (but are not restricted to): bandwidth quota limits, email box limits, MySQL errors and a few others. I am unable to login to the server to fix these issues but I am working on a solution. I am aware of the problems and dealing with this issue is my primary concern.
Enchanted Graphics has relocated to beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. We still offer the same services, just from a different location.
Testing my EE tweeting.
Just taking some time today to try and ‘clean up’ some things. Finally got rid of the last box that I’ve had since I moved to my new office. I’m not sure what took so long to empty the box, because it only took about 15 minutes this morning. I cleaned up my Roboform data (passwords) as this had become quite unwieldy lately. I also updated my Expression Engine and updated my portfolio. Can’t believe how out of date that was.
I hardly ever have time to work on my own website, and I’m not complaining about that. But I realized that I had not actually really worked on it for at least 2 years! I’ve been wanting to do lots of things with it, but never seemed to find the time, or to even really know what I wanted to do .... I keep wanting to blog, but didn’t want to have another site set up that I had to take care of. So, over this little 4 day weekend, I decided to focus on my site. At this point, it’s mostly ready, at least it is functional. I have things I want to do, but they can be added.
I am not really sure how people manage to do everything they do. I seem to become consumed by any particular project of the moment. For example, since I’ve focused on my site for the past 4 days, I have not done anything else (cleaned my house, responded to email, etc). How do people get it all done??? When I get back to working on Monday, I will be pulled back into that race and again unable to focus on my site, as well as other pursuits. So, this has been an ongoing issue in my life. I’d really like to know how to manage my time better. Or to be less consumed by the projects that I work on.
my first entry for the new year ... woo hoo. happy 2009 to everyone.
At long last, I have begun updating the pages of Midnight Enchantment. This is my oldest web site, and still one of my favorites. Sadly, it has become my most neglected. I actually sort of lost access to it after a few server changes. I started looking at the code and ugh, the site was originally built using Claris Home Page for the Mac. Lots of nasty ugly coding remaining on the pages. I am going through each page and reworking the entire layout. I am starting with the seasonal adoption pages. My goal is to make this site a ‘treasure hunt’ for all the folks interested in web site treasure hunt.
I have updated the Tutorial for the PSP9 version of the MakeTags Script. You can view the tutorial at http://enchanted-graphics.com/maketags/. There is also a German tutorial at http://www.fonol.com/Wiciyela/TJP-Help/ and I would also like to mention the wonderful help group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TJPMakeTagsScript/. Everyone who has come to the group seeking assistance with the scripts has had success!
I have added a new section to the site. I have selected a few news feeds that I think are important for web site development and design. These include sites with articles, tutorials, and discussions regarding software, graphics, CSS, PHP, etc. and search engine optimization. I have found all of these sites to be useful, if not critical, to my own work and hope that you find them useful as well. The link for this Web Site Development & Design section is on the right sidebar.

For those of you who visit my site for the free background tiles and sig tag extras, I have temporarily removed the downloads section. I have reorganized my web site and need to think about how I will present those goodies and make them available to you.
I have written my very first PSP tutorial. Many people use PSP to create sig tags. One of the great features of PSP, implemented in v8, is scripting. Julie has developed a wonderful script for adding a list of names to sig tags. I wrote a tutorial for setting up this script in v9 and you can view it here.
The newest tool we’ve spotted is for checking link popularity. For search engine optimization, a key factor is having other people linking to your web site. This is a bit of a time-consuming task, and it is useful to know if there are people linking to your site. You can check out how many people are linking to you and who they are by clicking here and filling in your url!

I think I have completed the new design. I wanted to keep some aspects of the old design (like the Organ Mountains). However, I wanted to make things easier to update and maintain. So, I have chosen to go with a content management system. I will now begin updating the content of the site. You can continue viewing the usual pages here.
I am in the process of redesigning my web site. Please bear with me. In the meantime, you can access the usual pages here: http://enchanted-graphics.com/index2.htm. Tamalita
